Food and beverage staff will report directly to Food and Beverage Manager and/or Assistant Food and Beverage Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Write patrons’ food orders on order slips, memorize orders, or enter orders into computers for payments while simultaneously relaying orders to other staff.
- Input correct orders in the point of sales system and charge for the correct items.
- Up-sell menu items and promote specials and new rollouts.
- Accurately manages a cash drawer.
- Performs opening and closing duties of the restaurant.
- Performs food preparation duties.
- Expedites the food going out of the kitchen.
- Completion of all daily side work given by supervisor.
- Cuts an array of different food products using the correlating knives for them.
- Cooks with a high temperature griddle and Sauté station.
- Cooks with a high temperature fryer.
- Operates heavy duty kitchen equipment while performing duties.
- Buss tables and assist with dishwashing duties.
- Maintains the proper stock of food items, utensils, and other small wares.
- Cleans, maintains and cares for all equipment being used.
- Cleaning and sanitation of all service stations.
- Removes trash and debris from the building and surrounding area.
- Performs duties assigned by supervisors.
- Works well and assist co-workers with their duties.
Standards and Qualifications:
- Cooking and serving experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in hot areas.
- Must be willing to learn safe and efficient use of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques.
- Must be willing to work weekends and holidays.
- Must have a positive attitude.
This is a seasonal hourly paid position with uniforms and golf privileges provided.
