This is a hands-on position responsible for assisting and providing quality service to all guests at The Links Golf Course. This position is typically the first point of contact with guests, high levels of customer service will be expected. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Greeting customers in a friendly professional way at check-in and processing their payment in a timely manner
- Taking phone reservations for tee times and answering a variety of questions about the many golf opportunities that we have at The Links
- Assist with organization and communication of the golf shop operations
- Learn and be proficient in the Point of Sale system (Club Prophet)
- Be familiar with all of our opening and closing procedure and be able to perform them in a timely manner
- Promote The Links Golf Course in a positive manner to all of our customers and other staff members
- Be able to perform marshal duties on the golf course and understand how to correct slow play issues in a quick and positive manner
- Be aware of outside service duties and tasks and be able to perform those duties when needed.
- Be able to handle cash transactions in an accurate manner
- Be able to handle customer issues that are in line with the management to ensure customer satisfaction
- Be familiar with merchandise and be able to help customers with their needs
This is a seasonal hourly paid position with uniforms and golf privileges provided.
Dates of Employment: March-October (this is a part-time position)
